ABOUT
SARAH BARTLE

Sarah holds a Masters of Science and Bachelor of Nutrition from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine, which is one of the first established schools of Asian Medicine in the United States. She is licensed by the state of Illinois and is nationally certified by the National Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Sarah's interest in Chinese Medicine began while she was working in a fast-paced, high-stress corporate job. Conventional medicine did not help manage her stress and the aches and pains of working long hours at a computer. She decided to try acupuncture and herbal medicine and was astonished by the immediate and lasting effects. She made the decision to study Chinese Medicine so she could spread the powerful healing affects to others. Her treatment strategy is both individualized and holistic.

FAQs

Can I get guasha or cupping only?

Short answer is probably not. I practice acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Within the world of Chinese medicine cupping and guasha are generally considered accessory techniques and not a stand alone treatment. Each individual case is analyzed and cupping, guasha or moxibustion may be included in the treatment at no additional cost.

Do you take insurance?

I am not in-network with any insurance providers and payment is due at the time of service. However, if you have acupuncture coverage I can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance.

What do I wear?

The best acupuncture clothes are loose and comfortable. Preferably pants that roll up to your knees and shirt sleeves that roll up to your elbows.

How long is an appointment?

Most sessions run 50 minutes in total.

What’s the parking situation?

There is pay-to-park street parking on the east side of Damen and free street parking on the west side of Damen.
